KIRKLAND
ARTS CENTER
The Kirkland
Arts Center supports the creation and appreciation of art by offering
classes, camps and workshops for 1200 to 1500 students each year, from
its home in the landmark Peter Kirk Building at 620 Market Street (425-822-7161).
The Arts
Center has owned and maintained this historic building for 37 years, and
has made it open to the public as an education facility, community arts
studio and exhibition center for art lovers of all ages.
Tens of thousands
of residents and visitors to Washington enjoy its 1000 square foot exhibition
space each year during the six to ten gallery exhibits shown there.
The gallery
is open to the public M-F 11-6 and Sat 11-2, and is free of charge.
